		<description>Thanks for this explanation. My favourite spindle is a small Turkish spindle from Jenkins. I find twirling the top a pretty fast start for the most part. I have a question, if I may. I find that the twist doesn&#039;t always distribute itself evenly along the single I am spinning. The bottom, near the spindle, ends up getting more twist in it than the top near my hand. Is there are way to even out the twist along a four-foot (or so)single?</description>

Love it.  Nice inexpensive way to make some stamps.  I&#039;m going to make some sea gulls in various positions and use them in my paintings as a base to build on.
