With a database of thousands of knitting and crochet patterns – many free, the best place for knitters on the web has to be Ravelry. It’s a social network as well, so you can connect with other knitters worldwide!
Knittinghelp has great video tutorials and how-tos for many aspects of knitting and crochet.
It’s not a pattern resource, but I had to include The Knit Princess – my new favourite webcomic!
